Hey there. When the delay to The Final Shape was announced, Sony and Microsoft cancelled most preorders. This is normal for them, in the case of delays.
Did Sony take the money up front? I believe they only take it some time before the release goes live, so if there was no payment, that would be the reason why there was no refund. You'd have to double check that against your payment statement and your PSN account, and query PSN support if there's an issue - it is not something Bungie had any control over.
Note that this cancellation does not remove Tessellation from your account, you may still see the initial pre-order bonus items and unlocks, but not the new ones.

Ok thanks for clarifying. They did take money up front. Bought the dlc 8/26/2023 for $106.61. So I guess I should contact them?

Correct Sony controls the money on playstation pre-orders till the release date.

They can’t refund it because it was too long ago so there goes 100 bucks.

That was quick! Sorry, confused though. You aren't trying to refund something yourself, you're asking them why they haven't reimbursed you for something they cancelled.

My card got hacked before they tried to refund it. But I didn’t get an email most likely because it wasn’t an active bank account
