Basically you're unsunsetting legacy gear
So let me get this straight, you're finally decided to unsunset the legacy gear with power limits to them after a couple of years. WOW bungie don't respect players time grinding for those weapons and gear.

Glory to God I still kept most of my sunset gear that wouldn't have been pullable from collections. Shame I deleted my Pluperfect and Threat Level though. Those are the only two I deeply regret deleting but I now have all these other weapons I can use again like my Calusea Noblesse, Bygones, Trophy Hunter, Kindled Orchid and more.
