There's nothing wrong with "better gear" The fact that the gear will be the same gear that was sunset to begin with is the issue, at least for me. I'm not screaming about it, but it is annoying that it was sunset in the first place only to now be reintroduced and then for it to be "better" makes one question "WTF did it needs to be sunset in the first place" IMO, and let's remember here, my opinion is the only one that counts, they would've been better to leave that stuff behind and make NEW gear, but that would require work and they also couldn't use the old is new again draw card they love to play so much. Nostalgia is fine, but this is very boring and lazy. It's a simple ploy to regain lost players with some old favourites. Good luck to them, it ain't working for me.

No, I wouldn't, that would be no better. Why would I want the same, almost same as what I had before and was sunset already? Where's the innovation, where's the inspiration for me to play?? I have zero inspiration with this "new" gear, because it ain't. It's just more nostalgia and I'm bored of it. Personal opinion, I ain't talking for anyone else. Until I see actual new content that looks fun and enjoyable, I'm not interested.

I don't play for my own reasons, not anyone elses. As it should be. I would like to come back to the game and enjoy it again, but unfortunately I don't see anything enticing that would make me do that. If others do enjoy it, good for them, I ain't bashing on players. As far as the forum goes I'll call it as I see it, again, as it should be. I use the forum as a gauge to see where the game is at and what things are being done by Bungo to improve the game in hopes it'll change to MY liking so I might comeback and play again. If people take issue with that, that's their problem.

Yet you spend endless hours arguing with people who enjoy the game. It’s normal to play a game you enjoy. It’s normal to post on the forums of the game you play and enjoy. It’s completely abnormal and dysfunctional to hang on a gaming forum, constantly argue and bash a game you stopped playing a long time ago. You basically are a bad heckler lol.

I ain't going anywhere. And I dunno where you get you "endless hours on the forum" from. Takes a few minutes "at most" to post something. You're just looking for an argument for no good reason, pretty sad if you ask me, especially for someone who claims to love the game. I'd think your time would be better spent play it 🤔

The immortal looks like every other smg in the game but with a trials decal on it, but its performance & perks made it stand out. It could've been a re-release of antiope & it wouldn't have changed anything about it or people's desire to get it & use it.

I understand that, and have in fact used "reissued" or "reintroduced" weapons before, as I'm sure most players have/do. My issue is with the fact these specific weapons were sunset for a very specific reason and now will be "reimagined" only to be better than the original? So this means they were sunset for no good reason in the first place? IMO Bungo like to create drama, as the old saying goes "any publicity is good publicity". This decision would have been known to cause some outcry and backlash from the players, but it gets them players talking and interacting with the game again, which of course is what Bungo wants. That's fine, good for them if it works. Unfortunately for me, I ain't buying it.

I wouldn't say it was for no reason. It was so the weapons we've got over the past four years would have their moment in the sun. Plus I'm 90% sure the reissued weapons won't be meta, but we'll have to wait & see.

I'm sure they'll be fine. I still think the reasoning behind it was BS but that's my issue. Hopefully it'll be worthwhile content and I'll find it interesting enough to come back and play it. Only time will tell.
