The episodes are plot lines that were meant to be resolved prior to the finale but got pushed back cause they spent years retconning the main story and its fundamentals. Years of wasted storytelling time, that’s where the episodes would have been fit in. And the episodes are being rolled out in smaller content segments. Minimal effort means minimal content. Just enough to tie it off cause otherwise they’d be a laughingstock. Even Pristmatic isn’t wholly original. Darkness in the OG storyline was corrupted Darkness. So the two coexisting and being used together requires someone capable of standing on both sides of the line between light and darkness. Which was the sentiment of BL, wasn’t it? That’s what I mean. They just recycled Statens supercut with a few minor tweaks and a different villain. So did they explicitly state it? No. Cause then sales would drop for the episodes and they’d have failed to finish the franchise off properly. And be a laughingstock.

You had a grand theory about the Witness and when the origin cutscene was officially released, though it had been leaked... people were already talking about it. You made a post whereby you were positive that you were correct. That week, the narrative director Brookes did an interview... in that interview said that the Witness cutscene and much of the lore should be analyzed as "folklore"... and should not be interpreted literally. Which is what your theory was. I talked about the Lady in White... I talked about the original animated concept stroryboards indicating and predicting the current narrative citing a comparative method for analysis. Finally, some related questions.... In that trailer, we see Savathun inside the Traveler. How did she get inside? When? Savathun has always been known as a doppelganger and mimic... who is she riding with? On that note, why do we assume the Savathun we know... the Hive Savathun... isn't a derivative construct? We know for sure she has at least one precursor form... Glint told us, and her name then was Sathona. I've talked about the same character having many names to both literally and figuratively represent the evolution or stages in a character's life. This is a trope of psychological realism in literature. Maybe, we never met Savathun... or who she really is, in person yet? Which is the foundation of the "obvious" plot twist you claimed to have known since D1 despite extolling ad nauseam that everything is retconned. That's the Gardener... the Lady in White. The big bad. So, how and when does Savathun get inside the Traveler? I've also talked about the root of the idea that created this narrative. That being Special Relativity... Olber's Paradox respective Einstein's theory and EAP's (Edgar Allan Poe)'s direct connection to both of these things. All this related to the relative perspective of Light vs. Dark... how that perception can be confused, corrupted, and/or manipulated. Simply put... this IS the Endless Night. There is no light here. Layered on top of that is a corrupt interpretation of Leto... her children Apollo and Artemis. Cronus as the Witness. Add to that "Through the Looking Glass"... and "The Walrus and the Carpenter". We are the Oysters... we ARE literally and figuratively... the "Egg Men". Add to that PhillipKDick's science fiction... in particular the short story that expands on these conceits of relativity respective memories... commenting on determinism, indoctrination, and social conditioning/engineering.
