They didn't "fire" him, they just didn't renew his contract because there was no work for him at the current time. No point having someone on payroll when there is no work for them. -
Fire, not renew his contract, its the same thing, the guy who is part of the old gaurd since halo, that made some of the best videogame ost is no longer there, so again op shouldn't have any hopes or dreams of working for or with bungie for a loooong time

Not renewing just means not entering into a new contract with an individual or business after a previous one ended. Bungie had no further work for him, so no point keeping him on payroll. If you ran a business, would you keep someone on payroll even though there was zero work for that individual? No, you wouldn't. Doesn't matter who they are, you wouldn't keep paying for someone when there is no work for them. Nothing wrong here. -
