Change onslaught.
Got to do something about the player just leaving or make it not so long. Wasting an hour just so two dummies can just leave on wave 30 leaving a single gaurdian to defend is stupid.

4 RepliesIf you’re playing with randoms, that’s not their problem if you wanna go wave 50 but they wanna go less. They paid for the game just like you did, they can play however they want, don’t like it? Form a fireteam with similar views so you ALL get to wave 50. Now…If you’re with an LFG and they dip when you said “Wave 50” then that’s messed up on their part.

If the activity is too long for your taste chief, just do the 10 wave one.

You need to take 10 seconds before the activity starts to ask the people you're playing with if they intend on staying for the full 50. If you're just playing normal, it really shouldn't be a problem if someone leaves. People get matched in to replace soon enough.

That said I do like the 50 wave one if I have the time to play it. But we need a better system to find a replacement guardian.

Theres no way to stop it other than the two things I suggested. If it’s taking an hour to get to wave 30 something is wrong to begin with. Good luck.

4 RepliesPeople leaving isn't a Bungie problem. They might leave because you suck at the mode, they might want to do more than 10 but less than 50 rounds, they might have gotten the weapon they were looking for, They might have to take a -blam!-, the cops might have just kicked in their door, etc. Get a fireteam already.

It is too long. I would like to see it shortened by half. I do like it but an hour is a long time.

1 ReplyNothing you can do can stop players from leaving, and it's a casual level activity, so its not going to get penalties, and even if it did nobody would take them seriously. If it bothers you that much get teammates who want to farm 50. Otherwise youll just have to deal with it.

I agree! Simple fix = select 10x / 20x (bounty run) / 50x (min. Farming run) 🤔 I was doing a 20x for bounty last night…that’s all I wanted to do, as time was short. On round 30 chest, I simply had to bounce…and that’s all there was to it. In my mind, I’d already stayed for an extra 10x than intended. 🙃 If an option of desired runs was available, as mentioned above, problem solved! ✅ Now, what if either of my two teammates decided to bounce on my 20-run effort, eg, one after 10x and the other before 20x is completed - what then?! 🤔 All of my (3 😁) 50x have been extended 20x bounty runs…all players felt good to keep going, and so we did! No mic…no msgs…just a good vibe! 👌 I’d prefer a selectable 10x / 20x / 50x option! It’s not rocket science. 🤖 Ease springs! 🫡
