I'm sure someone will disagree with me on farming Adept weapons from Pantheon and that's fine. I'm not a raid expert anyways. But let me put it this way. The game gives you triumphs that gives you a guaranteed and specific Adept weapon for completing each of them. That's cool. But you can also get Adept weapons for clearing an encounter within the bonus timer. But they're completely random, there is no [u]duplicate protection[/u], and you can't get an Adept weapon to drop from that encounter's bonus condition anymore afterwards. Maybe not even for the rest of the event as far as anyone knows, because I didn't see any details about that in the news posts and even the exotics are limited to 2 for the whole event apparently. I managed to complete 2 encounters with some determined teams within the bonus timer so far and I got Mykel's Reverence (Adept) twice. Bad luck, right? But I understand that luck plays into any random-roll drop for Adept weapons in general. There's no guarantee you'll get what you want in any regard. Though for a limited-time event, I wish that duplicate protection could've at least been a thing. I'm happy to get the Adept sidearm, but both rolls have Frenzy on them as well. It's just disappointing like that. But otherwise, I like the event. Don't know how doable the later difficulties will be, but for what it is, I wouldn't mind this event being a reoccurring thing.
