Please STOP WITH THE BATTLEGROUND STRIKES
On my PlayStation account, I just went 21 straight Vanguard Ops strikes doing Battleground only strikes... These strikes are TEDIOUS as all f'ing gettout... I don't believe I've even seen Lake Of Shadows since I started playing D2 again. OVER A MONTH AGO.

Battlegrounds aren't hard, they are incredibly boring though, here, take a strike make it overly long and stupid, there ya go, must include spongey enemies and millions of boring ads. Battlegrounds are stupid by default, season crap does not equate to a Strike, make it a separate playlist again Bungie. The best strikes were the OG ones like the Pyramidion, the Infinite Forest, and the old one one Mars for Nokris, good times. I miss having cool Strike Emblems to earn.

They need to separate the Strikes and Battleground like what they did with Iron Banner Tribute and Control. When The Final Shape drops The Defiant Battlegrounds are probably going to join the Vanguard Ops list.

Yeah. Theyre hella tedious. Instead of designing some new strikes they just take some complicated seasonal bullshit and slap GM modifiers on it. “Look guys new GM’s” Honestly screw battlegrounds. So many oneshot mechanics in there. And no its not a skill issue for me. Ive got all adept rolls and gilded conqs I want. Im just saying they -blam!- suck. Its a stress fest if you’re with mediocre players or make 1 little mistake yourself. Why dont they just bring back the year 1-2 strikes/nightfalls and add those. They were laid back and fun.

You ran 8 vanguard ops, not 21 3 were battlegrounds, not 21, 5 were strikes. You ran lake of shadows 30 mins before posting this, but said not once in a month. It's no wonder bungie ignore these forums, god help us.

I actually tend to prefer battlegrounds, other than the ghost parts they are really quick

6 RepliesBattlegrounds are the fastest strikes now. Bungie did away with those 5 minute speed run strikes because the community complained about speed runners. Now all strikes take 15+ minutes to complete.

battleground ops are hilarious, over tuned add density, purposely placed cheese spots so you can avoid the add density. These battle ops are boring and formulaic and have a built in cheese spot every time.

Can't wait for the three Defiant Battlegrounds to get thrown into the Strike Playlist next year. Those will be a blast on GM. Especially the Orbital Prison one.
