So my brother started playing Destiny 2 approximately 3 months ago. In the span of 3 months, he has put over 800 hours in the game, bought multiple dlc's, cosmetics and silver. He recently logged into the game a couple days ago to find that he was banned, with no explanation. After seeing this, we attempted to appeal the ban as there was no reason for it, and we figured there had to be some kind of mistake. A day later, we find out that the appeal was rejected, we can't appeal any further, and that there would be no more information given. Just like that, all that time, effort and money, gone in the blink of an eye, for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Safe to say my brother was crushed, he loved the game. So did I. Now he's got no way to recover anything. First off, I can't even begin to explain how wrong this is. The system is completely broken. I've seen time and time again that we are not the only ones stuck in this situation, and Bungie simply does not care. All we want to do is play Destiny together, but now we can't because he does not wish to start over and lose everything he had. Honestly I can't blame him. Please Bungie, fix your system and unban the countless players you have wrongfully banned. We just want to play the game.

Hi there. The Bungie forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans and can only provide speculation as to why your brother was banned. If your brother's appeal was denied, then after reviewing your brother's case, Bungie staff confirmed the ban placed on his account was valid. For more information on Bungie's policy regarding bans and restrictions, please review the policy found here. The article includes a list of things players can be banned for.

I am locking this thread as the only answer that the forums can give you has been given. Also as a reminder to everyone, remember to play nice.
