Timer needs to be increased to 25 or
30 minutes. 20 minutes puts you at boss and then wipe not enough time. Plz increase the time
All the talk about skill it’s not skill I’m just saying they need to increase timer cause at lot of people are talking about it
Finally got it, but my god can’t even be excited for crafted version of this thing like plz for the love of god take this feed back into consideration.

Original mission was 20 minutes it was much harder. People got it done and did not complain. Now we have weapons and abilities that make clearing adds a none issue. This is already an easier version of the mission. To say that this is not about skill is very dishonest.

Edited by Semper Fidelis: 5/15/2024 6:48:28 AMog version for the emblem was hard quarantine zone emblem 💪💪💪
-
I did it on legend with a group and we beat it first try. Skill issue. Just keep trying you will get it
-
I can get to the boss in 2 minutes.
-
Run faster. Make decisions quickly and effectively. Train.. Train.. Train
-
Skill issue
-
timer is fine
-
I did the original with no problems. Sounds like a skill issue
-
I'm pretty average at the game. I die alot and I got the legend done on my 2nd try. Just keep at it.

Edited by BetweenMyself: 5/15/2024 3:31:21 AMHaving completed Zero Hour (both on Normal and Legend difficulties) when it was previously available and having cleared Normal difficulty Solo earlier today, I decided to give Legend a couple of attempts Solo as well (also allowing me to completed the Catalyst Switch Quest step ahead of a future grouped run) and on my final attempt was able to reach to just before the Super-Heated floor puzzle at the entrance to the Vault before exceeding the twenty minute limit. Knocking off a minute or two from each of the previous combat encounters as well as a minute from the TR3-VR section due to having more people flipping switches, I imagine a fireteam of three who are familiar with the activity and can traverse the jumping puzzles without too many deaths should be able to reach the boss encounter with a solid five to seven minutes remaining of the twenty minute limit (before factoring in Sword Skating and/or Strand). This may just end up being a situation where players who are having difficulty will need to reconsider their builds and put in the practice necessary to avoid needless deaths with the traversal sections, as frustrating as that may be for those with limited time to play in the first place. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

Man I remember so well that mission ! Only did in a team but the same team always . Mainly the jumping wall puzzle that screwed us every time . It was challenging last time but ended up doing the mission 200 odd times .

Edited by Dredgen Truth: 5/15/2024 3:42:02 AMOn my second attempt, I finished with 4 minutes left, and one of my teammates never even made it to the bossroom. I did it with time to spare, while down a person. I don't think the timer is a problem.
-
The amount of "get good" comments on this situation is ridiculous. People think just because they use strand, well skating, and mountain top for speed boosting that EVERYONE should be doing this. When these activities are made they should be play tested without the use of these and scale the time limit on that, not cheeses. Just like the caretaker encounter on pantheon, if you dont damage glitch the encounter, you cant get the high score. Its getting ridiculous.

It's an instance for Youtube and Twitch streamers and 'world record' screaming wavers of -blam!- rather than the bulk of Bungie's player base. This 'the whole run has to be nigh on perfect or you're back to orbit' is a bit tiresome and a waste of time, especially in LFG when people keep leaving.
-
zero hour would of been fun but the timer is going to end up biting bungie in the butt . players are leaving the game and many I have spoke with will not be purchasing the FS because of this very fact. l guess bungie is no stranger to throwing money away.

Edited by Guardian,Archon Of Light: 5/15/2024 8:20:08 AMThe legend path takes way too long, even without missing a jump , at best you can hope for around 3-5 min to kill the boss in 2 phases, the last being a bullet sponge Brigg with no crit Oh , and and the flag dissapears , so better hope all players get to the boss at the same time, or no ammo
-
Edited by Guardian,Archon Of Light: 5/15/2024 9:21:41 AMIt feels like they didn't play test the changes at all , adding a whole other phase with the same amount of time is dumb, but that's to be expected these days 22 minutes would be more than a fair compromise , or killing enemies adds a small amount of time like the old prestige nightfalls
-
Legend mode sucks -blam!-. Timer is way too short
-
agree, you literally need to get lucky and hope your lfg actually can do everything perfectly, otherwise you have no time
-
Honestly, remove the brigs and increase the time and I’ll be fine with it, I just really hate the brigs just because they lack of a critical point untill you basically have them dead.
-
My team just finished the zero hour on NORMAL with 1 minute left on the timer. We struggled so I don’t see any way that I will be able to finish on legend without being carried
-
Edited by Xx RogueMerc xX: 5/15/2024 11:03:56 AMFinished it with 54 seconds left. My team has all gilded Conquerer 11 times and previously ran the original version on both difficulties. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say most average players aren’t going to complete this. I think adding about 5 minutes to the timer would make it still a challenge but more accessible to less skilled players. Legend Whisper was much easier for time management.
-
The timer is too short when you don’t know the pathing or you are doing other stuff like the catalyst, I did it two days ago the first time we went in for the catalyst didn’t have enough time to finish the boss the second time we got to the boss in 8 mins with 12 mins to spare.
-
How'd you get it if it's not about skill? Did they increase the timer?
-
They just posted that it is not a bug that normal is 1830 also. They wanna ride the difficulty train with the streamers on board into the sunset, so let them. You already have to hard carry randoms in EVERY activity past patrol. This simply kills all the fun the game once had. More than half the content has become innaccessible to casual players. They wanna make the game a circle jerk, so let's see how it goes for them.
-
How about you accept that it takes some skill and effort to complete the mission, instead of asking for it to be adapted to your own abilities? The casuals that are all complaining now dont like to hear it, but unfortunately it is really just a skill issue. Most time can be saved in the jump in run and if you refuse to take the effort to learn and improve in it, then you dont get the weapon. It has been the same earlier, even harder considering shields were much more problematic. Now we have even more power creep, abilities single handedly killing entire add waves and bosses, eager edge swords to skip entire sections of the way and people complain, because they have gotten used to being able to complete anything, since Bungie made accessibility the main priority.
