Was perfectly fine as it was and they ruin it. No point even using it now.

As someone who actually likes Divinity as a gun and not just as a debuff in raids, I'm actually quite disappointed. Such a cool looking weapon such a shame to see this happen. I always thought it wasn't fair how little damage it did against red and majors since it's Exotic and Legendary traces do more damage. More so after the debuff nerf. This and the lament and osteo nerf are just unwarranted. People barely use them. I know I only ever use lament on crota but there are better options already as is.

75% longer to get the crit cage up is HARSH! Geez
-
Bungie wont stop nerfing well and div til absolutely nobody is using them. If they get nerfed again it'll be because 1 guy used them during a public even on patrol.
-
It was fine? No not in 3 man activities. I got it post nerf and in activities such as dungeons or Onslaught it is completely worthless. It should be an intrinsic to the warlock Cenotaph mask. Instead you have to waste an entire exotic weapon slot on it. Oh my god it stuns overloads, so broken. No, it is -blam!-. Its for people who cant aim in an aim assisted game designed for balding halo fans. And after this nobody will ever use it
-
No point using it. Only reason anyone runs div is because they want to say “my damage is low because I’m on div and well”. Grab an Apex Predator, use a weaken debuff/tether instead of Div. Do your damage rotation.

oh no i have to shoot 17 bullet at the start instead of 10 big change

Edited by Dredgen Truth: 5/16/2024 12:59:39 AMDivinity never should have been added to the game. Any fight designed around it being difficult to hit crits has been trivialized, because if one person is running divinity, then the entire team hits crits. For free. It wasn't perfectly fine, the only reason it isn't basically the most used raid weapon of all time is that only one person on your team needs to use it. The thing is busted and has been since it came out, in spite of the few nerfs it has caught. The very identity of the gun is based around something that shouldn't be possible, and has actively nuked the balancing of the game. And, in spite of all that, in any fight where its even mildly difficult to hit crits, people are still going to use it. People will use it for rhulk, people will use it for taniks, people will use it for Kalli, people will use it for Nezarec, people will use it for the daughters of oryx, people will use it for Ir-yut, and people will probably use it for at least one encounter in the final shape's raid. That's just how strong guaranteed crits are.

Time for bubble to appear is 1 second. 75% increase to that amounts to barely anything. Don't be dramatic. The 15% reduction was a worse nerf.
-
Tood riddance. It trivializes encounters, especially in day ones, and forces bungie to design bosses around divinity.
-
Honestly, the only issue was how it was more powerful than the Shadowshot tethers. That was why the 30% nerf took it to 15%.

I haven't used it for some time.
