Maintenance status updates unavailable
The maintenance page on the site hasn't been updated and I don't know why updates are still mainly given out on the app formerly known as Twitter. They have destroyed functionality of the site for people who don't have an account, it's not a good way to disseminate information.
I was kicked from the game 2 hours ago, but from googling it seems that it shouldn't have gone down for another hour yet.
Please can Bungie.net be updated with maintenance notices and not rely on another website that doesn't provide a service to people who don't own an account on the site. Creating an RSS feed that can be followed and updates other sites would surely make more sense?
