I could see them completely axing PvP. Tbh i believe most of their player base is PvE and it could be a statement of “oh we need to consolidate our resources into one area therefore PvP will no longer be a part of the game.” The longer the game endures the worse matchmaking becomes. They keep trying to recreate an IP thinking new staff and new ideas are going to resurrect their old player base and bring in new ones but the damage is done and it continues to ensue. Destiny 2 is an old name and new players young and old aren’t going to invest in a game that has the current track record of this one.
