Jolting Electricity Seasonal Challenge needs to be Changed.
This needs to be changed to "Kill Scorn ANYWHERE in the system"
The Vanguard Ops and Gambit way is a fail. I tried for an Hour to get ONE Strike with Scorn with no luck. If others got it done good for you. You got lucky.
Forget Gambit cause it's RNG to get Scorn then have to fight 3 other people for kills against tanky ads.
This goes to respecting players time. It puts a bad taste in your mouth when you get nowhere with a challenge because it takes RNG to find ONE game with Scorn in a massive playlist plus having to fight over kills.
Please look into this

2 RepliesThey messed up this challenges, it was supposed to be last week when the Nighfall/gm was "Birthplace of the Vile", nothing you can do, launch Vanguard Ops, if is not birthplace get back to orbit hence and repeat.

38 RepliesThe only seasonal challenge that's even worse than that is Round and Round We Go. You could generate 10 orbs of power in a strike and it only goes up by 1 or 2 points.

They did this last episode with Vex - which was just as bad, partly because there are no strikes or battlegrounds that are entirely vex, so when you do get a strike/gambit match with scorn/vex/whatever - your teammates become opponents. Last season - the trick was to run off into a lost sector (Battleground:Oracle was nice for this - with the Orrery lost sector right there) and farm them, and just ignore the strike completely. It's an awful seasonal challenge, and to make things worse - we have kill scorn with Void and kill scorn with stasis to come in later weeks. I've actually hung on to my Birthplace GM until the last of them come out. I'll do the Arc one when Birthplace rolls around in a couple of weeks time. Running off to Bay of Drowned Wishes may be a trick if you get a Corrupted strike.

Scorn will be in the weekly nf apparently on weeks 10, 13, & 15; BotV, BotV, & Corrupted respectively. At least there's a nf dedicated to it now.

Edited by distractedFreek: 12/5/2024 4:23:04 AMRemember when they had the bounty where you had to kill a certain enemy type in VanOps, but the rng made it annoying so they changed the bounties to give you progress on any enemy type but extra on a specific one? I guess they forgot to incorporate that into similar challenges when they got rid of bounties.

This is very frustrating. I tried again this morning and nothing. It keeps putting me in the same strikes over and over. Please fix this
