It's so disorienting when a gun has its rpm reduced. I've really been enjoying using this gun in PVE for the last 2 seasons, to the point where it's climbed to the top of the list of my favorite guns in the entire game. The rpm reduction makes everything feel off, and I'd argue that in a looter/shooter where builds, in a lot of cases, are becoming so much more ability-spam heavy, changes like this, that make a weapon less enjoyable to use, just feel very deflating. It's a bummer.
-
The gun still claps. The rpm change is negligible
-
Zodleon
going back to our grave in russia - old
Separate the samdboxes, so larger changes can be made between the two. Graviton a pve focused weapon with problematic pvp ramifications, just nerf it's damage in pvp, and leave it otherwise untouched. Same for vice versa. -
I agree. The change has completely ruined the fun and the gun. If PVP is the problem, nerf it for them. Put it back for PVE.
-
All the people crying about it’s RPM change need to just stop. It’s a good change and it’s been this way for years. Stop crying over the fact it had to be brought back in line as was the most OP gun in the game for a month. Lots of other great void weapons for both PVP and PVE.
-
It was a menace in long range PvP fights. I’d sometimes die because my teammate got killed with it! Did it get nerfed then?
-
That’s what you get!!
-
Cry more…..that thing needed a nerf.
-
Wait… so they nerfed the damage and increased the fire-rate… Only to revert the fire-rate and not revert the damage?!
-
Once again, pve suffers for the sins of crucible. Which to be fair, graviton did need a nerf in PvP, but I wish they went in a different direction on how to nerf it
-
Talk about such a non issue
-
Most likely because it's overuse in pvp it got slammed with that nerf. (Like always)
-
The gun still claps
-
THIS WILL KILL THE GAME FOR GOOD
-
It's the Bungie way. Enjoying something? Well, gotta do something about that.
-
I bet if Graviton was an exotic you could only unlock after a long and challenging exotic quest, no one would be whining about how OP it is. It’s always been powerful at ads clearing. The main “issue” now, is everyone has it. But the gun is fine, no need to nerf it to the ground because you can’t stand new light out scoring veterans with it in strikes.
-
tbh i didnt even noticed the change as i was using it earlier ennemies still went boom boom, and thats all that matters you'll get used to this rpm very soon as its basically its old RPM, and pvp will feel better X)
-
Edited by Ray: 1/15/2025 3:41:22 PMWhy are we acting like this weapon wasn’t 300 RPM before and still one of the best weapons in pve? Yall cry about the dumbest -blam!-. Shut up
-
Well it was abused heavily by the players both in PVE and PVP so the change was bound to happen sooner or later.
-
It's not enough imo. Weapon is still way op in pve
-
Isn't it just the pre-buff version from echoes?? Feels slower, but still it's still very strong. They accidentally nerfed it in echoes, and it's not back to that level.
-
It just went back to what it was lol. Wouldn't it have been equally disorienting when it was increased? Or does that only apply when it's a nerf?
-
I haven’t used it but I’m assuming it’s reverted back to what it was. Whiny complainers ruin anything fun these days.
-
Best gun in the game reduce to nonsense because of some stats? Bungo is the poster child for "out of touch game developers"
-
The only way to not be disappointed by nerfs is to focus on non-meta weapons that have been forgotten by Bungie and deleted by most players - and no longer available.
-
It got the vex mythoclast treatment. Watch it’s usage charts drop so low it’s forgotten again lol
-
It's still bs in pvp. Needs a harder nerf for pvp only.
