I saw in the TWID that glaives (and swords) meant for specific classes were not supposed to be open to all 3 classes. Please consider keeping it open. It is so fun using the arc glaive on my titan or warlock. It is cool to allow other classes to have a mini bubble. It really makes no sense why they are locked to one class anyways.
We did it boys

Not that it needs to be more busted, but have you tried the arc hunter glaive with the new Titan aspect for Bolt Charge barricades? Feeling like Zeus hurling lightning everywhere. 🌩️

it honestly opens up for some amazing combinations, it allows for all the classes to dip into support, defence and offence so well, not to mention with things like speakers sight and helm of saint 14 you still get the best use out of the glaives on their original classes, it feels really balanced.

YES PLEASE I LOVE THE HUNTER GLAIVE ON MY WARLOCK

It doesn’t make a sense for a hunter to cast a bubble or a titan to cast a healing turret. Class Specific is fine and it makes sense. Keep the class identity. Prismatic class items already started to walk dangerously close to the line of losing identity. No reason a hunter needs Scynthos and a Titan needs Assassins Cowl

Edited by The Ashen Ranger: 2/14/2025 2:55:59 PMWhat they really need to do is fix the special shots. When they reworked the glaives for Heresy, they doubled the number of hits required to charge the special shots from 3 to 6, which was a pretty massive nerf to the whole thing that made the glaives exotic, even with the situational ability to charge it with melees. Overall, as someone who used to use the glaives a lot before the Heresy nerfs, I can say with certainty that there's a very noticeable difference in how often you're able to use the glaives special shots, especially Edge of Concurrence and Intent. They need to make projectile hits grant 2 stacks towards charging the special shot, so that the glaives will be able to use their exotic perk as often as they used to. Right now, based on my experiences with them before and after, I'd say they're overall weaker than they were before the Heresy changes.

Definitely keep the cross class use... flexibility and adds more build craft options what's not to like...lots of players are so resistant to change and don't want there one trick poney build to be threatened or gods forbid your copy pasta streamer sheep build need a rework...we live in sad times -
Agreed. Leaving them open to other classes has made them relevant for the first time ever.

I'm pretty sure swords were available to all classes in D1.

Agreed. But since they are fun to use this way, Bungo is sure to take them away. Bend over, players....
