Can you unlink a cross save you no longer can authenticate.
Have an old cross saved that I would like to get rid of but can’t authenticate it?

To cancel cross-save you'd need to authenticate all of the linked accounts, meaning if there are any you can't authenticate, you'd need to work with the platform support to recover access to the account. If they are unable to help, then it is not possible to deactivate cross-save. However even if you did cancel, as mentioned you'd still be then unable to unlink any of the accounts. So they're stuck there whether you can authenticate them or not. Bungie does not forcibly unlink accounts.
