Limited revives on every activity has made the game completely unfun
I am at the power level where grandmaster is the only way to progress. But I only have one other person to play with.
Having limited revives on every single thing I do is just not fun at all. It is tedious and just makes for a bad night of gaming.
I might be done after this experience.
If this is what you try hards enjoy, then have your dead game world. Most casuals will be doing other things that bring actual enjoyment.
What happened to pinnacle progression without the sweat fest required meta builds?
Also? Not being able to overpower content after the update this week destroyed whatever power fantasy there may have been left.
Thanks for not listening to your biggest player base again. Keep on appeasing your hard core streamers. Your company will whither.

And then there is the responsibility of developing giving that minority what they want and making them have a non existent social life which is bad. Your product is not meant to -blam!- lives up or your basically practically selling drugs something addictive and have no morals. If your kid cries and wants ice cream everyday for breakfast lunch and dinner, do you give it time him, no of course not cuz you know it's bad for their health, you would be labled as a real -blam!- up parent. A human who doesn't physically socialise is a human that will be -blam!- up cuz that's part of our DNA and basic need to socialise

Reclaim is the way to go to hone your gameplay in Grandmaster and then Ultimate. Sometimes the Revive modifier doesn't appear. The only worry is a teammate who jumps in and loses your Revives in less than two minutes lol - but all games are not like that. The last update gives better rewards now: 4-6 pieces of levelled gear and about ten to dismantle. And Ghost's mod also helps with the prism shards at the end.

Las Vegas as a whole is doing some kind of mind blowing stupidity. Just weird...they want to squeeze out the 'class' of people willing to spend time and money on their products and start losing money. Then they literally look like they had no idea it was a bad idea, they need to get back out of the echo chamber they have been in, stop putting just yes people around you and take some criticism...-blam!-. They are equivalent of a streamer getting mad at $1 20x per hour for 8 hours asking for more, like 20 per tip, well good luck... that'll take off well.

It's cuz they listen to people with no lives who actually get off on frustration and anger. This is why those people will soon have no game to play which is what's killing the game, the problem is not limited lives, it can be done on some maps but yes doing it properly is close to impossible , that is why everyone cheeses grandmaster in the old days cuz byngie is bad at map design, they don't give you something called cover. The reply below does state the problem clearly. If you have limited revives then there should be no other limitations making it impossible for those of us who arnt sheep and want to build characters that play to our strengths. This what's fun. But just playing a meta build you search on line and power lvls that mean nothing and make you feel lije a gid annihilating everything is not fun. That takes the whole fun out of the point of character customisation tha stat build games work on.

People whine about leveling because they can't play end game content then when Bungie boosts them to the level where they are required to play endgame content they whine that endgame content is too hard 🤣

Agree totally just want to play the game but the management you have to do is STUPID! Locked everything limited revives I should be able to change what I want to as I am playing the game. Open up the modifiers as opposed to locking them. In some areas you need a different weapon but can't change cause it's all locked. Sometimes I just want to change my weapon cause I feel like it but can't. Everything with limited revives just restricted my play and my enjoyment to. If you like having a game you can't do anything in cause the devs locked it great....but stupid. I use the new exotic and get tanked by screebs how is that sensible? So now I don't use swords or the new exotic cause the gameplay Isn't THOUGHT OUT. That IS the problem. I want to run pinnacle but the limited revives 1 to start...honestly at all... is dumb this game is dying because of all of this and the more people that understand that as opposed to saying it's fine could bring the player count back up. If they keep this up Destiny will eventually just shut down cause it doesn't appeal to a broad enough market anymore.

Every time you cross a threshold, like 400, it gets difficult and grindy again. It will get really easy once you hit the higher light levels like 470ish. You'd be best to join players with higher light levels to pull your power level up until you get there. The revives are not as important as you might think right now.

They don’t care. This game is for a very small portion of the player base. No idea why they insist on sabotaging this game at every turn. Stop playing. Better that way.

I've never experienced a party wipe in a matchmade activity with randos outside of when Reclaim was brand new and one of my conquests (which is meant to be hard). Also where is the revive counter now anyway? I do not see it in its usual spot anymore. They remove it and just make you guess how many you have now?

You might get less rewards but you can probably throw on some more negative ones to compensate. I think also matchmade reclaim on Grandmaster and Ultimate has had revive token modifier removed so you could play those and not have to worry about it either.

1 ReplyKinda agree . They somehow sucked the one benefit of being higher power out the game . I find myself grinding for weapons in that I don’t really have an opportunity to use . Why does everything have weapon specific champions in? Why do activities block me for having a non highlighted exotic on? It’s just balls now .

3 RepliesToday had 2 different matchmade fireteam activities without revives. Reclaim cabals watch and the fallen saber strike both allow unlimited deaths so maybe check next time champ
