Uncut Story of Mewtwo's Origin
We all loved Pokemon at one point. We all saw Mewtwo Strikes Back. We all thought it was better than the normal anime for its dark tone. Mewtwo's origin was cut from the US release for being too dark, except the first minute or so of his origins, which explain the Mew fossil discovery. The rest is quite dramatic and make the movie feel incomplete when you watch it. It made me shed tears.

This is, surprisingly, dubbed by 4kids. It was a bonus feature on the DVD release of The First Movie, then an uncut feature in the DVD of Mewtwo Returns. I recommend watching it if you used to be a fan, or still are.
It was originally based on an audio drama in Japan, released on a 7" CD months after the movie premiered there. Enjoy!

Never seen that before,That was pretty badass.I mean if they kept the old show going with Ash using his first pokemon and newer ones to (Not ditching his badass Charizard) and Misty n Brock were still part of the show to,Give it a darker tone like this and the funny parts still in it and less repetitive and you got a hell of a pokemon show.

It is crazy to think that anything was blocked back in the 90s-early 2000 but atleast this has a reason for being so.

You just can't beat the original pokemon... I still have all of my promo cards from when I went to see this movie in theaters, I saw it like six times. I still have the urge to watch the show sometimes, I'm 23 now. [Edited on 05.14.2011 7:10 AM PDT]
