Can steam account names have Spaces in them?
I says "Please enter an account name that is at least 3 characters long and uses only a-z, A-Z, 0-9 or _ characters." But this is what i have Dr Septem

^^^ Da hell? You have 3 possible sentences there! I can not understand what you are saying with the lack of punctuation. If a message comes up [b]stopping[/b] you telling you what characters you can use then you can not use what you just entered. You can not use Spaces to create an account. E.g.- My ACCOUNT name is "Reignbow_Dashy" and the underscore is there because it does not allow you to use a space. My Community name (What you can change your name's appearance to be...) is "Rainbow Dash". Notice how now it allowed me to use a space. Create a Steam account without one, then edit your profile and change it to whatever you want, even something with a space. Clear enough? [Edited on 08.17.2012 12:22 PM PDT]

Account names, no one sees them. Community names is what everyone sees in game. Set up your account, go to the community tab and change your name there.
