Should "better" members be recognised?

By "better" I refer to members (or groups of members) who make contributions to the community. For instance, by the way they post, sharing their artwork, stories, organising game nights, etc... Why not have a way of identifying the role models in this community?

  • Meh, who cares? If I ever did something meaningful or useful for the community (I doubt that would ever happen) I don't think I could ever care if I was recognized or not. But I suppose it would promote some incentives for a certain number of users.
