A few examples would be trying to fight same sex marriage from being legalised because it's a sin, or trying to get shariah law the main law of the land.
Why though? Why should the entire country follow your religious rules?

Everyone wants their personal beliefs to be law. I wish I could make it illegal for news channels to spread alarmist bullshit, but I can't do that, now can I?
-
Like I said earlier.
Because they think their beliefs and ways of living are "the right ones" and think that by inflicting them on everyone else, they're doing good.
-
MY BELIEFS ARE RIGHT BECAUSE THEY'RE MINE
-
Good question. Church and state should be separate at all levels. That doesn't mean to say, however, that viewpoints coincidentally shared with religions are bad.
-
Because religion provides a good moral foundation which turn out to be laws anyway.
-
To be fair, while it's obviously religiously fueled, some idiots are actually going with the "it's unnatural so we shouldn't embrace it" ideology when it comes to same sex marriage.
-
It's your country. If the constitution is not based on religion then you can do what you want.
-
They're crazy! I have no idea why they think everything's so bad. That's why I try to stay away from that stuff -_-
