If they already have a CCP and their own weapon to carry. I don't want to force teachers who don't want to carry guns to do so, nor should guns be handed out like candy. There should also be a trained officer or 2, but having some teachers with guns isn't a horrible idea. This way schools are safer, and chances of accidental shootings only marginally increase because only those teachers competent to carry a gun are allowed to do so.

I don't see why if they own it legally that they shouldn't be able to. Although the risk of it ending up in the hands of a child because of someone not acting responsibly doesn't really sit well.

Honestly they should just install automated turrets in the roof. I know I wouldnt have done half the crap I did with turrets watching my every move.

Or tell people not to shoot up places

Ban campuses.

People are quick to jump on the "blood in the streets" train on topics like this. In reality, each of those teachers could be allowed to carry the moment they step off school property. If they were going to go nuts, they'd just break the existing law, and at best having to walk across the street won't stop them.
waits for Dutchy's reply
One of these should be in every classroom. Or better yet. Put an scary looking, non-functioning automated turret in each classroom. Give it motion sensors so it tracks each person in the room randomly, only don't tell anyone that it doesn't actually shoot. Now that'll keep people in line.
