I think that it might be a bit unfair to let exotic WEAPONS into PVP. I mean think about it. Using the base assault rifle going up against an exotic. It's a bit unfair. However, I think that maybe they Should be included, but nerfed. That way it's fairer. A cool looking weapon, but with the same power as a classic rifle. Like halo. All weapons are standardized damage and stuff.

It isn't unfair. It's like saying that having the Rocket Launcher or the Sniper Rifle on Halo's MP maps are unfair. Exotic Weapons are like the "Power Weapons" from Halo. They are much more powerful, yes, but they can't be used as much as a standard loadout weapon. I think Bungie mentioned that in one of the Podcasts? That you will have to look around on the map for the limited amounts of Exotic/Heavy Weapon Ammo (this will promote map control)? I'm sure you won't be able to use Heavy Weapons or Exotics at the start of every PvP match, or even if you do, you'll have little Ammo for it. The point of having these Exotics is so that people can choose which of the "Power Weapons" they prefer to use if they get to a "Power Weapon" spawn before others do. Either way, nerfing it is a terrible idea, since it would make the "Exotic" status meaningless.

If i have the balls and strength to get an exotic firearm ill be damned if i cant use it
-
Ive heard they will allow them but who know about armor
-
That would defeat the who purpose of getting an exotic weapon. I'm guessing the difference between the base stats of an exotic and a common weapon won't be drastic to begin with.
-
I believe exotics or any other weapon shouldn't be nerfed, here's why.... Let's say it took you a long time to find this really bad ass exotic gun and you just want to tear shit up in multiplayer so you go and you find out that the guy with a tier color green (common gear) weapon shoots you down and y'all started firing at about the same time. I mean would you be upset because you worked at getting that awesome exotic weapon to deal some damage just to find out that it is nerfed in multiplayer? All I'm saying is that bungie should implement the matchmaking system where it puts you into a lobby where there are people with the same rank or around the same rank as you. But I also want to say that the same weapons are open to everyone you just have to rip shit up in the main game and find them.

Hell yes exotics should be in pvp, at full power. The only thing that makes Destiny pvp sound interesting is the fact that you can bring your same guardian from pve over for pvp fun. Without that it's just another lame monotonous online fps. With your guardian and equipment carrying over, and more importantly progressing and growing stronger in every game mode, it makes every game mode viable at any given time. There's no, well I kinda want to play pvp right now, but I'd rather level up my guardian. You think my exotic is too powerful, then go get your own.

Lol well looks like the general public wants it soooooo
-
It's already been confirmed that you are limited to 1 exotic weapon and 1 exotic piece of gear at a time. Seems like Bungie's got a handle on it.
-
Lol. Sounds like Halo PVP guys trying to get Halo out of Destiny since they can't get it out of Halo. It must be removed because I keep getting killed by some guy using his perk tree against my perk tree. It's not fair >_< It starts with Exotics and then it will be Warlocks and glide then Titans and double jumps until they get Halo because dumb ass 343 can't make an Arena game for them.
-
I trust Bungie knows what their doing. Im thinking that most weapons will be well balanced in time it takes to kill someone. Probably the exotic thing about the weapon is not only the case but how it goes about that time. Like the Thunderlord shooting lighting rounds.

I am not looking forward to pvp #SaltSimulator2014
