My husband and I both have it preordered. We are fully prepared to use the time between the end of the beta to launch to teach our pets how to cook, clean, and take care of themselves, because we sure as hell won't have the time.
-
I'll almost certainly cancel my pre-order for real, because while there are some very cool aspects to the game, there are too many aspects I don't like. For example, the Old Russia world is visually harsh, for lack of a better term. It's too bright and the colors seem a bit unnatural. My instincts tell me Bungie made it that way to make it look alien, and then I remind myself it's Earth. Whatever their motivation, the result is that I find it tiresome to look at it for long periods of time. Another example would be the Devil's Lair co-op match-made mission. I played it yesterday with a friend and a third person the game found and it took use an hour and 35 minutes to complete it. Seriously? I do not want match-made games that last an hour and a half and consist mostly of tedium as we fire a gazillon rounds into some giant tank thingy or some floating ball thingy trying to wear it down one bullet at a time.
-
I cancelled my preorder as well......and got the special edition with the Vanguard Ghost! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I FINALLY HAVE SOMETHING TO REPLACE MY CRIPPLING HEROIN ADDICTION!
-
I genuinely cancelled my pre-order. Then upgraded it to the Digital Guardian edition. Destiny rules!
-
I have the Ghost Edition preordered and just like this text field I am typing in at this very moment, my body is ready.
-
I preordered after todays beta as well. I wish I could get US prices. €100 for the guardian edition is a bit much. But hey. I get to shoot stuff. And as a side note, I didn't want capes anyways (sniff)

Its strange. I never really got into Halo. I mean, its not that I thought Halo was bad, but it just never stood out to me personally. Seemed like a pretty average shooter. It always seemed like there was something better or more fun to play on either my Playstation or Xbox. And especially now with Bungie no longer making Halo. Destiny really stands out though. I can't get enough of this game. Sometimes I forget that I'm playing a Beta. I spend more time playing Destiny than I probably should. And even though its just a Beta, I'm having a blast. Can't wait for 9/9. I don't know how I'm gonna find the time to play this game as much as I'll want to.
-
Heh I was gonna get all mad at you but you tricked me, tricky sir. You're naughty.
-
You are easily impressed because this game us FAR from amazing. Its boring. No depth. NOT open world. Invisible walls everywhere. Boring guns. Stupid ammo system. Dead world The most people I've ever seen in the cimmon zone is 4. Small map. No actual map. No chat. No voice. No space craft in a space game. Horrible voice acting. Boring missions. No weather effects. Low level cap. WORST PVP ever! Yeah, amazing game. Lol

I have to agree, I downloaded this yesterday and played about an hour this morning before work, just an hour and I was hooked couldn't stop thinking about it all day long.
-
AWWWWW you sneaky bugger I was about to write a wall of hate and state what a ungrateful person you were. :D No but seriously Destiny is amazing. Really lived up to all the hype and more! And this is just the BETA!
-
The destiny beta is complete trash compared to the alpha. If you didn't play the alpha on PS4 your going to be in for some real surprises. They just dumbed down the beta to generate that earth shattering feeling when the game launches. Think 1080p 60fps, masterful rendering and environment creation that far exceeds the beta, plus the smartest AI created and ball bustingly hard missions. In alpha, the devils lair on legendary was the greatest and most frustrating 2 hours I've ever spent on any game.

Overall, this game is superb. The multiplayer is looking like it'll keep people occupied for years to come, and this definitely has major franchise potential. A few small problems : the Interceptor vehicle is overpowered. It shoots way too fast for the damage it does. It's great to go 19-0 on the moon with the Interceptor, but it ultimately feels cheap. Besides that, great job Bungie!

It is not like we had social life to start with :)
-
Destiny is the perfect mix of Halo and Borderlands. And agree, this game's gonna be dangerous for social life ;p

lol. that's why all the old folks call it witchcraft.

I loved Bungie since Halo, but I never thought I could love them them any more. I was so wrong. My wife said that I should just marry Bungie, and I said when can we start the divorce.
-
PvP sucks IMO. Love the story and co-op though. I cancelled because I have to enjoy all aspects of the game and Call of Duty and Titanfall's PvP are much better IMO. Add to that the caveman 30 fps and you get.....an incomplete game. Yes, PC gaming has ruined console gaming for me and I really wanted to like this game.

lmaoooo

Suddenly I don't even care that a certain other MMO for the console (which shall remain nameless -fist cough-) keeps getting delayed. Pretty sure I don't need any other game in my life. E3 list? What list? There is only Destiny. @_@
