It all comes down to two choices. Do you want an all in one device, or something actually made for gaming? Only thing I want out of my console is the ability to play games, anything beyond that is a bonus. Plus I don't need any dumb features like sharing my game screen with the tv.
So your reason that the ps4 is better is it's lack of extra features. K.
Nah, hes saying the ps4 lacks being a vcr like the xbox

Then there's the superior hardware, native 1080 resolution, exclusives are more appealing to me, controller is nearly perfect, the list goes on and on...

I'm not faulting anyone for getting an XB or enjoying it, if those features are fun to you then cool. I just don't have a need for it, I buy a console to play games, not running my living room. Besides, 720 resolution is pretty noticeable on my TV.
-
Edited by zero1zero: 8/26/2014 5:34:03 PMI guess get a better tv. I just prefer Microsoft because of it's way beter online services.
-
How would getting a better tv help? If anything he should get a worse tv so that there's no ability to play at 1080p. I for one have had both xbone and ps4. I play on a 60" led tv, and the Xbox looked markedly worse than the ps4. For me, the Xbox tv features weren't enough to give up gaming fidelity. Now someone with a lesser tv may not even see a difference or may not care, but I had my preference. That and the voice operation and tv features were actually a lot more clunky than my normal smart tv apps, so it was a bit superfluous for me.
-
True, xbox live was more than enough to make it worth it for me. Psn is a clumsy mess and it always has been. One day it'll be on par, but it seems every generation it finally catches up with the last generations xbox live.

My TV Is great tyvm, the resolution difference is quite important depending on how big the TV is. http://www.carltonbale.com/1080p-does-matter/
-
Odd, looks the same on mine for both.

Edited by Loki: 8/26/2014 5:47:59 PMThat sounds more like a personal problem. TV size and viewing distance affects how noticeable the resolution is. Sure, when I'm sitting across the living room the differences are negligible, but when I'm stretched out closer to the TV the difference is noticeable.
-
Well at that point it's your fault, follow the tv distance viewing guidelines ;P.
-
Lame attempt at getting the last word in. Originally you sounded like one of the good XB users, now you just sound like a fanboy. My TV, my home, and if I want to sit 5 feet or 15 feet away my games should look good anywhere.

Edited by zero1zero: 8/26/2014 6:01:33 PMCalm down, no need to be a dick. It's fine if you want to claim that the play station is better, I don't care that much. You prefer a little better graphics when sitting with your eyeballs touching the screen, I prefer an online service that doesn't blow. To each their own. And it's not like I don't have both systems. I gave the ps4 a chance. It Is the lesser of two gaming consoles in my opinion.
-
Well, to be fair, I didn't say it was absolutely better. I personally think it is, but I get why people like their XB. I probably would have considered it more had they not ruined everything with the weird restrictions and requirements they claimed at launch. Granted, those were pulled back, but that they had the ideas in the first place turned me off completely.

Well except one looks like my grandma's old vcr lol
