BREAKING: [b]My college, Oberlin, has just managed to fix the error. I'm not sure how they did it, but Bungie, please contact Oberlin College's IT department to see if there's a universal fix that can be sent out.[/b]

I'm at Oberlin as well. Add me on PSN. wizzlefiz. I was just trying to play about 5 hours ago and was having no luck. But maybe they fixed it since then.

Most likely, like the other universities that has got Destiny working, Bungie has been in contact with the IT department at your uni for testing purposes and has sent them info that has corrected the problem. So we gotta wait until Bungie patches it for the rest of us which should be sometime very soon.

I guarantee you that isn't what happened, I was in close contact with the networking head working on the issue and whatever he did to solve it, he did it internally.
