At first I was mad at this too but then I realized after I played a raid why they went with their decision. Over 200 deaths on average with each person per raid AND most wont complete it in one sitting. No 5 randoms are going to stick together for 16 hours through frustrating deaths. Meeting people is as easy as coming on the forums or even inspecting and sending someone a friendly message. I guess real world skills to apply sometimes. You should learn some.

I see your point, but as I've said to this before, how is meeting some random person any different from simply putting us in matchmaking? The only major diff is, they may not be playing when u need them. For Bungie to say "this is too hard for ransoms" is dumb. I'll be the judge if that. And yes, if I wipe a million times, so be it. At least I tried it.

Do what I did. Get on the forums and make a post for a group. Shouldn't be hard to find people. Wasn't for me.

so your solution is to go outside the game and use another form of match making, grouping 6 random people together of the forum to run the raid. do you not see how that is the same thing as in game match making? :)

It's not, because by going to the forums at least you can see the person and their gear before inviting them. In matchmaking you could get a team of idiots with terrible gear and no skill. Do you not see the problem? I could try drawing you a picture.

I have. Several times actually. Problem is, everyone else is doing that too. Your "LFG" message is lost amongst a sea of other posts exactly the same. Never get invites. And again, is that any different than simply adding matchmaking? Only difference is you have to leave game, post on a forum, then wait for an invite from a random. Seems like a totally backwards way to do things. Wouldn't matchmaking with voice chat be easier? I mean, many people have said "imagine voice chat with 13 year olds" and that sounds terrible, but that's a risk I'm willing to take to enjoy content lol.
