Has anyone just dismantled the item they didn't want ? If so what do you get in return .......also what happens when you dismantle a fully upgraded piece of armor

It gives you ascendant shards for armor (2-4) based on 7 dismantling. I am sure weapons give ascendant energy but I haven't tested this yet just makes sense. Fully upgraded sadly makes no difference.

Dismantling a fully upgraded piece of armor give you the same thing crafting pieces and a little bit of glimmer. Is it worth it? yes if you are never going to use the item because it can help with upgrading your better items
