So another update comes out today... Yet STILL NOT AN UPDATE TO FIX THE CRAPPY SERVERS

Patrols and story replays, no kicks. Usually I have to shut down and start up again. It's not all the time every day, but it's enough to piss me off. Oh wait, I know, let's test the theoretical servers with a 3 hour window during a secret mission to the moon while half of you are working or are busy. That'll be an accurate traffic count.

Yeah same here bro, ive got a lvl 27hunter and a lvl 26warlock and it's been soo hard to get gear, as it kicks me at the end of the game nearly everyone's, I've pretty much been ranking up from vanguard bountys and playing the terrible story over and over :(

Hopefully that gets resolved, hey I got a question though about bounties, I've been wearing a dead orbit cloak for a long time now, am I just wasting my time? Will I get more points to buy gear if I don't have a faction? I don't quite understand it.

And you won't get more or less point to buy armour if you pick a faction. You'll get the same if you were just going for the standard vanguard or crucible gear. The only difference if the colour of the armour and maybe the slight difference in the armour visuals.

So at this rate since I invested so much in dead orbit, should I leave their cloak on and shop through them? It never feels like I make much progress, so far I have bought ZERO with vanguard/crucible points. I can't afford anything.

Hmm, well you buy gear from dead orbit with crucible points. And you should be getting 2 crucible points for a loss and 3 points for a win. :S well it's up to you bro. Go see what rank you've got him up to and if its higher then the crucible rank stick with him. For any vender you need rank 2 for armour and rank 3 for weapons

Oh okay, yeah I'll look into that when I get home. So basically, keep doing crucible and check back with him. I guess the confusion is turning in bounties, I should turn them in with dead orbit equipped to further rank that merchant? Should I stop wearing dead orbit once he's rank 3?

Not you still hand in the bountys to the bounty guy, but as your wearing the cloak instead of the xp going to vanguard or crucible it goes to dead orbit. And yeah once he's lvl 3 there's nothing else to unlock, so you could try rank up another faction if you so wish, it's up to you.

I appreciate your help on this, the faction thing was really starting to confuse me. I like Dead Orbit's cloak though, I hope sometime I can find a really cool neutral one.

No problem man, I had the same problem at one point. I agree I really like the cloak looks sick. I'm using the second legendary cloak that you can get from the crucible guy.

Well all wearing a faction cloak does is instead of the reputation points you get from playing crucible or bountys going to ranking up the vanguard or crucible, instead it goes to dead orbit so you can buy him gear. it's personal preference, if you want him black and white armour go for it. If your not too bothered just rank up who ever you've got to the highest rank. Either dead orbit or crucible. :) okay?

Yea I still can't play for more than 5 mins. Been like this since Friday. Please work on it. I've done everything I could to play but still nothing.

Yep same, luckily my friends are constantly inviting me back to the games I get kicked from. the servers have been messing up for me since day 1. :@

That stinks man I've heard a lot of people complain about the connectivity. I will admit one day, the day of updates I had problems, but other than that this game runs smoother than most others for me. I cant play any online CPU games because of problems like that. My counter-strike days were rattled with constant disconnections and laagggg. World of Warcraft, cut short because again same problems. Even recently, Battlefield 4 (PS3), started out well but after a little while there was consistent drops and server issues. I'll stop listing the history of games and my problems, but more have failed than worked. Maybe it's due to my odd playing time hours, but from someone who seems to be in the a horrible spot for connectivity for whatever reason, Destiny(PS3) has been pretty swanky. I wish you luck and hope it clears up.
