Do you have a wife or girlfriend who likes playing video games? I have. Lack of local coop alone makes this game basically useless for anyone who has household members interested in gaming.

Be brave. Until everyone has multiple consoles (+ games and subscribtions and stuff like this) in single household, developers will eventually go with people's demand. It will be online-only coop console games who will phase out, as more and more people will see how idiotic it's that they can play with some random dudes online, but at the same time they cannot share the game with their own family. It's a pity that many months after PS4 release all AAA titles that allows me to play with my wife are CoD:Ghosts and Diablo 3, but actually, at the same time of PS3 lifecycle I could only play Resistance:FOM...
