if you are for or against state why.
bungie has formally stated they will never and have no intentions of implimenting one, but maybe if enough of the forum pop agrees or disagrees they could in a perfect world listen.
I believe there should be. not for the players or to fix the shitty loot system, but for bungie to keep it's gamers. From a PR standpoint your loot system is flawed, and you have no intent on changing it, so let the players fix it by letting them trade. the game is at a point where there is little to no real world value on raid gear or loot if you are saying there's no trade for RWT prevention.

Being against trading and using "if everyone had what they wanted why would they play" as an excuse is basically admitting that Destiny is a hollow experience devoid of content. I would probably play more if I could get the items I want and not be disappointed month after month by a brutal RNG system. If you use the excuse "it wouldn't be as exciting as getting it to drop", try asking the guy with no Ghorn how -blam!-ing excited he would be to have a friend give him one after playing since day one and never having it drop.
-
Eventually duplication glitches and exploits will be found.

Josh, The Kell of Tacos - old
This, currently, would break the game but maybe someday, say the 2nd or 3rd game, characters kept all their weapons and armor from the first game, if trading was implemented than and the only way you could have those armors and weapons was to trade them from someone who transferred their character over from the first game than maybe, it would be quite interesting -
Still no gally so of course I want a trade system
-
Auction house bro... It could work...
-
I think it would take all of the excitement out of receiving an item. This RNG system stimulates your brain in the same way that playing a slot machine does, for better or for worse. I truly feel for those that want some of the "must have" exotics and can't get them to drop. But there's no way you can convince me that trading your duplicates for a ghorn is as exciting as it (FINALLY) dropping for you in the game. I'm a day one player, and couldn't ever seem to get Hawkmoon to drop. In April I finally got it from Deathsinger and was absolutely elated lol. I don't care what anyone says, that's far better than going to some kind of marketplace and swapping for it.
-
No. Would break the game. Put in alot of hours grinding for gally. If you could it would kill the anticipation of a sweet drop
-
Yep. If we lived in a destiny world where you actually had to accomplish something difficult to get exotics then i'd say no. But pretty much any activity you do is entering a raffle to win a chance at a raffle. Basically because random is the main way to earn exotics. Because they are not special they should be tradable. besides most people who've been here since launch probably have everything or nearly everything. and it wouldn't hurt for them to share with people who've been less fortunate.
-
Yes, they can block exotic trades therefore keeping RNGesus

Just try like the rest of us
-
No cause like us all here you just have to keep trying. All I want is a gally but it keeps me excited about loot drops. For every gun someone gets another person gets another. I'll have that gally soon.....
-
Bungie employees have stated there is one already on our discs just waiting to be implemented. So I agree it should be implemented as well as the player driven economy system.
-
No, too little loot.
-
I'd like to trade my second gally for a Black Hammer :'(
-
No. It won't work, bungie will find a way to mess it up, Ghorn will sell for 20,000 strange coins.
-
I stopped reading when I saw the double negative.

Edited by PrimedLegend: 6/13/2015 10:30:58 AMYes it's a good idea. People who say it would ruin the game are just selfish and ignorant. Just because you wanna be one of the few who have an item doesn't mean the whole game will be ruined if other people get it more often. And for people who say that it would ruin the grind, well that would be good. You know why? Because other people have lives and don't spend 8 hours a day or more on a video game. Bungie could implement good mechanics into trading like say the 2 people trading have to both trade the same rarity of gear. So if you keep getting the same raid armor or weapons or something else and the same with your friend then you can both trade raid items. Trading would make the game better, less people would rage and quit Destiny, and it would make the game more fun. Oh and people would have more of a life:).
-
It would implement stealing from friend's or thought to be your friends and hacking of other people's accounts and stealing and selling exotics or items if trading was implemented it should just be for glimmer or synthesis but no exotic weapon or armor trading should be account bound
-
Not enough items to warrant trading.
-
We should be able to sell items for glimmer. The glimmer cap should be removed. We should have something like a house or ship to sink glimmer into
-
They won't. How would they keep people playing? The only reason a majority of people keep playing is to get that one or two weapons that never drop for them. The weighted rng system is what keeps people playing.
-
Why so people can give max level gear to their noob friends?
-
We're still on this? NO! NO! NO! N-O! You do not know what you would do with such things with a trading in this game...just no! You may think the loot system is flawed and maybe it is but trading will just make it worse on top of the other flaws destiny has. Games like Borderlands it might work but Destiny no, so for the love of Crota, just no on the trading system. I don't care if you want Gjallarhorn, keep trying because the alternative is so much worse to what can happen and it will happen don't you try to lie, you know it's true. TL;DR NO!

Earn ur gear by playing the game. The spoils will come. Patience and Time..get it?

Selling gally $100.. No trading is -blam!-ing retarded.
