So I have found nothing on this error code and apparently it is a mystery. PLEASE HELP SO I CAN PLAY THE DAM GAME THAT I SPENT MONEY ON AND BOUGHT THE SEASON PASS! Provided a picture to validate the error code. And yes my profile was logged into and had no issues doing anything else. My system is an XBox One.

ERROR CODE "BUDGIE" RESOLVED! Here is how I did it. While I appreciate the effort made by Bungie (sarcasm), I was able to solve this damn problem. Here is what I did. CLEAR CONSOLE CACHE 1) Hold the power button on the console (XBOX ONE) for a hard power off 2) Unplug the power cable FROM THE CONSOLE 3) Leave console unplugged for 2-5 minutes 4) Plug power code into console 5) The orange light on the power brick (connects to wall) will turn white 6) Monitor the light and allow for white light to turn to orange 7) Power console back on (light will turn white indicating powering up) 8) Start the game and it should download the most recent update My ignorant and non-fact based opinion is as follows: I strongly believe that with all the weekly updates (not just from the DESTINY game) the console cache gets bogged up with somewhat of a logjam of info and it causes some type of confusion with how servers communicate with the system. This then affects the game from our perspective. I strongly suspect that clearing the console cache will resolve a good bit of error code issues. Unfortunately, until Microsoft adds a way to clear the cache from settings (if there already isn't a way there - I could not find one) Xbox One users will just have to keep using this method to fix some stupid crap until the industry, game developers or console developers, help us out on the cache and dedicated servers end of things.

You need an Xbox Live/Playstation network account to play Destiny

Now, 12 days later after this initial post and still unable to play the game. Not the slightest hint of acknowledgement from anybody either. Good thing I invested money in the season pass. Love the game, just so disappointed with the inability to help customers/gamers who have essentially lost money and time spent playing the game. I truly feel robbed.
