My group and I were fighting the Templar before, and about halfway from being killed, the screen said that its Enrage was near. We died, unfortunately. When we respawned, the Templar didn't get enraged until the very last second before we killed it. Is there something that triggers Enrage? I for one have absolutely no clue what it is, since we didn''t do anything different the first time to the second time. Is it just random?
Edit: Thanks for the help guys. All of you have said it's simply on a timer, so I'll go with that. Thanks again!

After 8 minutes since the battle started it will go enraged. U get the warning 7 minutes into it

I'm pretty sure it's set on a timer. You have about 8 minutes I think. Same thing happens with atheon. when my group was playing around with what the best strategy to kill him was we got the enrage is near warning, luckily we killed him beforehand.

Taking too long to kill him triggers his enrage. Can still kill him even if enrage he just spawns oracles like crazy.

I'm fairly certain it's on a timer.

Timer based, if you suck you will hit enrage lol

Not sure if it is a numerical timer, or if it has to do with how many "rounds" the boss gets through (For Templar, a "round" is the ritual of negation. For Atheon, it's sending you through the time gates). I haven't paid attention to the precise trigger moment. Either way, it just means you're being slow.

Time limit, just like atheon.
