My hunter used to be my main until I made a warlock. Warlock is so much more fun to play as and their self res is so much more useful. Not hating on hunters but just saying. They are more useful then Titans

Titans are Men, Warlocks walk with a crutch in case they get shot in the head or crushed by other Titans, The crutch being your self revive obviously

Edited by Packtus 007: 12/19/2014 4:01:27 AMYes you are a man because you are a certain class in a game plus I normally use void walker Cuz it's more fun
-
Nothing is more useful then a titan
-
This. Coming from a guy without a Titan. PVE usefulness: Titan>Warlock>.....Hunter
-
Sunslinger is good for the lamps, other than that, void is the way to go.
-
Yep, I've been using Voidwalker for every part after the lamps. Flame shield is great for the lamps, especially now that I'm leveling up my new Claws of Ahamkara... extra melee special charge, oh boy :) Plus, I have more fun as a voidwalker.
-
I dont plan on dying.... You do..... How are hunters useless again?
-
On the contrary, when I'm playing Sunsinger, it seems my self res is used more often when other people die. (Hunter or Titan goes down... I run into the thick of the shit, revive them, die right after i get them up and they run away, then i self res and we both survive). Hunters are loads of fun to play as, but I've yet to be able to use a super usefully in the Crota raid. Not nearly as useful as a Titan bubble or a well placed Nova bomb, or self ressing after saving a fallen teammate. I just feel so underwhelming as my Hunter :/ Much respect to good Hunters out there. From a Master Warlock and part-time Hunter.

Arch blade with the ranged ground attacks takes out hordes. Never can go wrong with golden gun either.
-
You say that as if Sunsingers have the Fireborn perk because they plan to die. I can assure you that's not true. I have it active for PvE just in case I die, not because I plan to.
-
Edited by CavScout00: 12/18/2014 9:00:55 PMYep and warlocks never use their supers unless to revive themself. Nova bomb is way more effective but noone uses it in the raid. Its void to. samething as minotaur and praetorians shields. I have a warlock along with 2 hunters.
-
I enjoy Voidwalker more., and I use it for the majority of the raid, although flame shield scorch melee is very effective against the first part with the thralls. But I still switch to Sunsinger for Nightfall because I have been the sole reason we prevented many, many wipes on Nightfalls over the past few months. Nothing better than ressing when the timer hits 1 and everybody's dreading going back to orbit when the boss has a sliver left, just because an exploding thrall or melee knights with lightswitch on came out of nowhere and creamed the team. Nothing beats a self res if everybody has a slight accident at the same time near the end of a nightfall. I don't care how good anybody is, accidents happen. I have two warlocks, one hunter. I often wish the Hunter was a Titan, since I'm not a pvp guy.
-
Kidding? I use Voidwalker almost exclusively for the first part of VoG, and for the one time I did Crota's End. :P I used Sunsinger against Atheon, however, and use it for most other PvE activities. I use it on PvP too, but, I use Radiant Skin for that instead of Fireborn.

Edited by SmokeShadow_27: 12/18/2014 9:34:34 PMToss a lance nova bomb up the stairs towards the spawn point on the left side? Orbs for days :) Not to mention all those fanatics... easy targets clumping up on the middle steps.
-
Thats nice but a majority of warlocks just run the revive all raid long
-
it's ok our hunter is usually the first dead in the raid not all warlocks plan on dying not shit I have the elf rez on both right now because I raided this week and if for some reason something goes wrong and I die then no one has to freak out, other times I use the armor during radiance
-
I did 3 nightfalls yesterday. Didn't die at all on my Warlocks. Died about 4 times with my Hunter. They're so damn squishy! Still fun, just too squishy. I like to play aggressively, I guess I should have made a Titan as my 3rd character instead.
-
Its the player not the class.
-
Opinion. I have a 30 hunter and a 28 Warlock, like playing the hunter more.

Golden gun just isn't fun and blade dancer is only good in crucible m8
