It's arguable that Shadow of Mordor was the surprise hit of 2014, it released without a lot of expectations and little fanfare, but made a pretty big impression on a lot of people. What do you think the surprise of 2015 will be? IMO, something like Witcher 3 doesn't count, it has high expectations. But I'm going to cop out of a prediction, virtually everything I know anything about is well documented already, hence no surprise. I'm interested in seeing other's thoughts, though.
