I think crit hits are the way to go with gunslinger. Icebreaker already does more damage that GG... With a non crit hit.
For Bladedancer, I think more damage in pve only would be a good fix. More kills = more orbs.
With the way the melee abilities were made, it's hard to think they would deal elemental damage. Maybe with the burning perk, the knife will deal solar damage as soon as it lands, not including the extra solar damage it will deal over time.
For the gunslingers trance and chain of woe, it is already great for pve and doesn't need a buff. It can make even the worst stability weapons and the slowest reloading weapons half decent. If gunslinger is supposed to be all about dps, team buffs don't fit the subclass.
