So I've been gone playing other games. I have seen some weird stuff in some game clips that my friends have made in Destiny, and I'm wondering, should I go back? I quit after a month of doing the Crota's End stuff.

NO! ITS A TRAP! Don't believe that this DLC is anything more than a plethora of reskins, a new material to grind, two 'new' game modes which aren't all that new at all, and a new social space (that you could throw a grenade across, it's that small). And better yet, pretty much all of this was ripped out of your game at launch to be sold back to you now Don't get me wrong, it is entertaining, you will enjoy what is actually there, and this time Bungie have made it so that you need to buy the DLC if you want your game to have any meaning, but anybody who tells you that this is a big expansion, it adds a tonne of new content, or is great value for money, are either: A) Not finished playing through it yet (haven't realised how little there actually is) B) Are fanboys that think a reskinned set of enemies (or in some cases the same enemy, this game now contains 6 oversized minotaurs for you to fight. They added two more.).. makes for a good expansion C) Have never played a real expansion and so can only compare this to TDB (it is magnitudes better than TDB) When we look at actual new content, we have: -The Heavy Pike (a reskinned pike with a different gun) -Scorch Cannon -The PoE arena (0 fresh enemies, all reskins, some with a few minor changes) -Two new areas on the map. That is it. TWO. Most of the story is just vanilla mission design run from back-to-front (the first mission is the Winter's Run strike done backward) -The Lighthouse (good luck) -Around three new PvP maps -The usual sets of reskinned gear ...And that's all the you are getting for the money you are spending

Substantially more.
