POLL: who wants dedicated servers? Also: commentary about Zero Light exotic engrams and Bungie's evil time-wasting nonsense creation.

Yes, we need dedicated servers.

No, Bungie's greed should continue.

I like wasting my time, so I don't care.

I'm so sick of Bungie's evil. First they ask you to buy the Season Pass. Which pays their salary. Then they create one ornament, which they then sell millions of times... for about $5/pop... creating hundreds of millions of dollars from simple weapon and armor ornaments. Then they refuse to re-invest any of that money in actually making the game a better place for people living in places without gigabit internet available to them. For people like me -- who have been gaming on connections that are meager, but workable for years. I live in Montana, and don't have access to top-tier internet in my area. However it's enough to get by. I don't experience lag when playing the game... but am wrought (often) with beaver, beetle, bee, bird, weasel, marionberry, bungo "error" codes because my humble, albeit stable internet connection is connecting peer-to-peer with people behind Strict NAT's on college campuses, (some of which are in places like Australia, Norway, etc. It's downright evil, and thieving (which makes it criminal) for Bungo to ban accounts like mine (*which they did) for THEIR lack of TLC for this community. They're greedy monsters who only care about MONEY. If they gave a lick about their community they would have LONG ago ponied up the dough and bought dedicated servers so that WE... their loyal CUSTOMERS... (the ones who PAY... FOR... EVERYTHING) could connect in a more stable fashion. People who play CoD... never get dropped. People who play any NUMBER of other games... don't have a zillion bullshit error codes to wade through like a greedy pile of muck... because games that CARE about their community have re-invested a small portion of their profits BACK I N T O the community to make it a better place. And I'm not the only one who has been dealing with this crap. Hundreds of thousands... of OTHER people are suffering for it, too. They spawn into Variks, and ride their asses ALL THE WAY UP to Riis Reborn Approach, only to find that the sucking elevator didn't load. Just like in the Warden of Nothing strike... when IT gets bugged. Or you get ALL THE WAY UP THERE only be be beaver'd... or should I say; slapped in the face. And so you fly back. Land. Sigh. Turn the other cheek. And ride up there again; and again; and again. And this; over time... keeps happening. Not ALL the time... but enough to make you feel like a crazy person. During Gambit. Crucible. Raids. Strikes. Or just WALKING through the environment. Then you level up enough to solo legend or master lost sectors... get the exotic engrams to drop... and they are ZERO LIGHT. And therefore when you go to collect and decrypt them... the disappear. Which means that your ENTIRE DAY... was for NOTHING. And "Bungie" not only slapped you in the face, they stabbed you in the heart. And took from you the most precious commodity of all: your TIME. These people are EVIL. And how do they thank me for my patience? They ban me. Saying I... of all people; am ruining this game because of my "connectivity problems." No; Bungie. It's you. It's YOUR greed. Your laziness. Your atrocious and horrendous LACK of customer support. I remember playing Blizzard games back in the proverbial day; and if you had a problem, you could CALL them. You could send them an email. You could open a support ticket. AND THEY'D FIX IT! You could get your money back for things you didn't mean to buy. You could report bugs. You could tell them you were having a poor gameplay experience and they'd APOLOGIZE! Think of it, Bungo... a dev team that actually cared about their consumer. Not evil, morally relativistic monsters who want you to "give in" to the "darkness." Sell your soul. And PAY for your own heart being ripped out. SHAME ON YOU; Bungie! SHAME ON YOU. Lift this bullshit restriction on my account. Let me play the game I have paid not only money for... but my very life. For that's what time is. It's your life. And to quote Chuck Michael Palahniuk; the writer of "Fight Club..." it's ending "one minute at a time." I am so sick of your shit, Bungie. You owe me an apology. You owe ALL of us an apology. ~Luke Aaron Venters~ Polson, Montana
