After having played onslaught for the better part of the last 1 1/2 weeks, here are my thoughts about the activity in particular and Bungie in general. You play your butt off in legend onslaught for nothing. The drop rate for golden guns is ridiculously low, and 99% of the weapon perk rolls are crap. The activity is way too longwinded and tedious for the loot it yields. The sad lowlight of the entire thing is that you do not even get a guaranteed golden gun from the extra chest appearing when you complete 50 waves on legend and beat the final boss. It would have been the least thing to do to offer players beating the activity on the highest level of difficulty such a reward. But no, Bungo, that is way beyond your petty, subtly twisted, narrow minded and short sighted way of thinking. I am asking myself what you do think when designing such an activity that way. Do you believe that all the Destiny players out there are so desperately looking for just something to do to fill their boring lives with that they are grateful for being given an endless chore leading nowhere? How far out of your minds are you? Or is this intentional, to make Destiny players waste endless amounts of time that would have been better spent elsewise and frustrate the heck out of them? There is a malicious trait in this. On the other hand, you add extra platforms to the Whisper mission which really isn't hard to get through (particularly not in the age of strand), and give players tons of time to complete it, dumbing it down to any difficulty the jump passages may have had in the past (they didn't) being completely ironed away. Thx Bungo, you did not disappoint. Onslaught is just another of your polished turds. Everything as usual. I just cancelled my preorder (again). It's pointless to throw money at you. You are subtly rotten in your ways of thinking, and that will obviously never change.
