Lately I just don’t feel like playing Destiny anymore. The entire game has become a huge slog fest with little or no reward for the time you put in. RNG pretty much guarantees that even if you manage to go through LFG hell and get a FT together, the chances of you getting what you want at the end of an end game activity are slim to none. So what’s the point?! Then on top of that, Bungie has taken away almost every way to get Pinnacle gear as a solo player, and the few that are left are also subjected to horrible RNG, so I don’t even want to try anymore. Doing the same activities over and over again ad nauseam with almost no chance to be rewarded for my time and effort is not my idea of fun. I used to look forward to playing regularly because I felt like there was something to be gained, some progress being made, but lately I just don’t see the point. And what a shame that is, because this game is STUNNINGLY beautiful! Nothing else looks like it or plays like it. The gunplay and weapons are the absolute BEST! Nothing remotely compares to Destiny 2. But with all it has going for it, crappy RNG, limited vault space, repetitive activities with meh rewards, and not much for solo players to achieve (which is how a majority of the player base plays despite Bungie trying to force us to be more social), makes this great game gawd awful boring. I know I’m just one person with one opinion, but judging by how many of my Clan members and friends have checked out, I can’t be the only one feeling this.
