Tomorrow marks the 21st anniversary of the 1992 LA riots. The Riots started over the Rodney King trials.
As a result of the verdict the city essentially exploded. There was looting, burning, killing. All while the Police were no where to be found. Either told not go to calls, or were deployed elsewhere. There was a week of Chaos that only really ended after the National Guard was called in.

I never really looked into the L.A riots; I wasn't born yet, and it wasn't talked about. The closest thing I can say to 'experiencing' it was Chaos Mode in San Andreas...
