What will be the antagonist in Tom Clancy's The Division?
What do you think caused the pandemic? Tom Clancy is pretty right wing, so I am pretty sure that it will be one of these things.

Worst case scenario, the outbreak was orchestrated by a home grown terrorist group. But I doubt that's the case, probably just a disease that mutated the right way at the right time.

it was a virus. you play as a member of a secret unit of trained undercover operators designed to retore the gov't should it fail because the gov't makes emergency planning scenarios for every possible or impossible contingency. really, just go look it up on youtube(the long interview with the game devs that also shows off the previous E3's tech demo/game reveal), you get the whole backstory there. basically the flu mutated and infected the currency and people went to shit in NYC. also f**k off, Tom Clancy is dead and mostly acted as a stand-in for a ghostwriter with the post rainbow 6(original series) games.

I don't think it's any of those. Part of the appeal of that opening trailer (at least in my eyes) was that a pandemic breaking out on Black Friday is a scary thought, primarily because it's a very REAL possibility. Bioterrorism is somewhat overdone in pandemic stories, so I'd like to see something that's relatively underused; it's homegrown.
