Episode 9 of Air
That's freaking awful.
(Not that the show or episode was bad, but what happened in that episode...towards the end.)
Anyways, Air is pretty good so far. It's worth a watch if you haven't seen it already.

You need to watch the Air in Summer specials after you finish the series. It's 2 OVAs that expand on the flashback. It was probably the most enjoyable part of the series for me.

Out of the trinity, Air is the one I refuse to watch. Clannad was good, and Kanon was boring. Air on the other hand just looks bad, and I also can't stand the character design anymore.

I love its OST but I really didn't enjoy the anime. The Air in Summer specials were nice though.

That was the last episode of the series that I liked. Everything from there just made no sense to me at all. I read someone's explanation for it somewhere on the internet, and, if what I read was what really happened, then the anime did a terrible job of explaining it. It's probably a case of the visual novel explains the ending better than the anime. (like Clannad)
