So I was off work and playing on my second account (my other account is a Day 1 toon) and I was doing the weekly heroic strike to earn some coins before xurday During the strike I got a legendary heavy weapon engram. Well the long and short is I turn it in and got gjallarhorn!!! But then I thought- did I earn it??? I was trying to get coins- earn them some might say- so I could buy exotics and I had the cryptarch turn it into the weapon I've been trying to get since day one. Then I thought- who cares. I certainly would (and still will) buy it if xur sells this weapon. Did I earn it- I completed the strike, had fun with some cool randoms, but I really don't care if this RNG event was earned whether through the luck of a legendary engram turning into this fabled weapon or if I used the coins I was getting from doing this semi-difficult weekly heroic strike Is there really any difference between the cryptarch and xur?
