Know any good Motivational Speeches? It doesn't have to be unique. It can be off of a class lecture or an article you read or even YouTube.
The purpose of this Thread quite simply is to just motivate yourself or any reader passing by. You never know, maybe something you say will change someone's life. Or at least their outlook on it. Enforce change in your heart and your mind.
My Favorite Motivational Piece is something I found on youtube. Sadly, I don't remember the speakers name but I will never forget what he said, more-or-less.
It went something like this...
Imagine, if you will, that you are lying on your death bed; Surrounding the edge of your bed are the ghosts of your skills, talents, gifts and dreams. And they stare at you with angry eyes and say "Only you could have breathed life into us. Only you could have shown us to the world. But instead, we must die with you.. forever".
Point to this? NEVER BE AFRAID OF CHASING YOUR GOALS! YOUR DREAMS! DO NOT BE AFRAID TO LIVE YOUR LIFE OVER!

Holy Musical B@man Act 2, Scene 5

The only thing we have to do to live our dream is wake up. The greatest two days in a persons life: The Day they were born. And the day they knew why. Why were you born? "My mommy and daddy went at it like rabbits", no. Fuçk that. Why were you born?!

Not really a whole speech but my favorite line is "the only thing we have to fear, is fear itself."

Fear is but an illusion. False Evidence Appearing Real. No one is going to pay you to be a billionaire. No one is going to magically make you into an athletic beast or make you lose that weight. "It's too hard. It's easier said than done." Well it's supposed to be fuçking hard. It is not easy. And when you make that change that you want to see, you will embrace the challenge and dig deep to find that the human mind and body and spirit cannot be broken in the face of things that are "hard".

Lets suppose that you were able every night to dream any dream you wanted to dream, and you would naturally as you began on this adventure of dreams, you would fulfill all your wishes. You would have every kind of pleasure, you see, and after several nights you would say, "well that was pretty great." But now lets have a surprise, lets have a dream which isn’t under control. Well something is going to happen to me that i don’t know what it’s gonna be. Then you would get more and more adventurous, and you would make further and further out gambles as to what you would dream, and finally you would dream where you are now. If you awaken from this illusion, and you understand that black implies white, self implies other, life implies death. You can feel yourself, not as a stranger in the world, not as something here on probation, not as something that has arrived here by fluke, but you can begin to feel your own existence as absolutely fundamental. What you are basically, deep, deep down, far, far in, is simply the fabric and structure of existence itself. - Alan Watts

Motivational speeches are all about delivery

When your body is sore and aching and screams for you to stop, you scream louder and say HELL FUÇKING NO! I WILL NOT STOP! I WILL NOT QUIT! BECAUSE I AM THE BEST AND NO ONE CAN STOP ME!

The Mind is a powerful thing. Let's say you went into a coma and woke up with amnesia. Someone walks in your hospital room and says you were a Navy SEAL. Best of the Best. And that they need you back in action whenever you were able. Would you carry yourself differently with the mindset that you are a Navy SEAL? Would you get up at 6AM, go for a 5 Mile Run and a 3 Mile Swim? Then weeks go by. What if they told you you weren't really a Navy SEAL? That you were just some dude who got into an accident? Would you stop getting up at 6AM to run and swim? Why? Your own mind can fool you. Use it to motivate you. Believe in yourself.
