So I just got into an argument with some idiot about the sleeper simulant, this is how it basically went down. So I'm on a post about the sleeper simulant possibly being in the daily, and I saw some guy saying that they locked it away to get more money from us, to which I reply yep cause it's definitely not in the game. Like they even said some exotics were hidden and really hard, but they definitely lied. So then some random idiot comments on that, and this is how it goes down. Idiot: Why hasn't anyone gotten fire thunder lord or sleeper simulant or first curse. It's because it's not in the game. Me: This thought is easily disproven since Bungie has said that exotics, such as the black spindle, are hidden and cannot be seen in the database. Idiot: It's not hidden they told us how to get it. Me thinking he was talking about the black spindle: Yes, they told us exactly how to get it, no one figured out on their own. Nope, we're to stupid for that to happen. How I realized he was talking about SS: We did what they told us and it's not in the game. Me: Then tell me, what exactly did they tell us? It's been about an hour and he hasn't responded. Also I'm the same comment chain, the idiot who posted the comment it started on said that my statement about the gun being hidden makes him believe I defend murderers, even when I saw them do it. That was the moment I realize this guy was mad I didn't agree with him so he basically called me a sheep. It was also the moment I realized I was dealing with a bunch of idiots. Edit: He responded! So he said that what Bungie said to do was collect golden age relics, and he says that he has them all(like he knows) and that the last on must be locked because he doesn't have it. I respond to the this by saying he's an idiot for saying that evidence of absence is what's happening here, whereas the only thing absent is evidence, so he's basically assuming that it must be locked because he doesn't have it. I now wait for another 2 hours for a response. Edit 2: He has replied to me saying that there are tons of items not in the game, so I asked him to show me this. I now wait another 7 hours. Edit 3: He told me a load of crap, and I told him this.
