Title says it all. I had 300+ weapon parts pre-TTK, now I'm down to less than half of that. Is it just me, or does dismantling weapons not give you NEARLY as many parts as it should? Like, even with Legendary weapons I only very rarely get more than two per dismantle. This is starting to worry me, seeing as there's no other viable source for these essential crafting components. Thoughts?

I saw a similar reply to what I was thinking. Do you upgrade a lot of weapons? Usually if I am using a weapon that I know I'll be replacing and dismantling as soon as I get something better I don't even bother upgrading it.
-
Holy crap you having trouble, I currently have 200 weapon parts, just dismantle every weapon you don't need. ;)
-
That and strange coins now.

After the most recent patch with the emotes and silver every time I dismantle a legendary or exotic the picture of the materials pops up on the right side with a giant red x through them. This includes weapon and armor parts, legendary marks, motes of light, and exotic shards, but not glimmer. I haven't been able to confirm whether or not I'm actually receiving the materials. Anyone else had this problem?

Been trying to find a thread on this. I am now to the point where I have no more than 10 weapon parts at any time. I actually have to carefully weigh decisions about which weapon I should upgrade or if I should wait and not dismantle a gun but save it for infusion. It doesn't seem to be that they don't drop enough parts on dismantling, it seems that the drop rates for weapons and engrams seems to be lower than most other engram/item types. I went striking for a while the other day and I was getting armor and weapons to drop in about a 5 to 1 ratio, respectively. I have more armor materials than I know what to do with but only a handful of parts at any time simply due to the fact that I'm not getting any weapons to dismantle.

Up next weapon parts for sale via microtrans bwahahaha

Infusing kills my weapon parts

Editado por Maulecule: 10/10/2015 3:54:26 AMik how you feel, i don't even have enough parts to infuse. either bungo increases the drop rate when dismantling, or they let me trade plasteel plating for weapon parts 1 for 1,
-
I have 3 :( I know how you feel.
-
Nope, I got like 2,000
-
Nope. Leveled New Monarchy to rank 3 and still have 1500+ left.
-
I have a total of 3000
-
I have one
-
I don't have a problem with it. But I also didn't reforge away most of them last dlc.
-
Yeah - low since house of wolves. It's a joke right now with all the new weapons and swords that need upgrading.
-
Same The struggle is real bro
-
Over a thousand just from running strikes, Court of Oryx and patrol. I just don't seem to have an issue with weapon parts. Infused allot of gear and still over a thousand left.
-
I used all mine for dead orbit rep.
-
I just wanted to activate my cocoon perks.
-
I invested a lot getting a good role on Hopscotch before Bungie -blam!-ed me over. Around a hundred and fifty I think. It's designed to prevent slowdown of upgrading and extend the hollow grind.
-
You can just level up random weapons you get using motes of light. Then just dismantle Them and get about 4-5 parts without actually upgrading the perks
-
Infusion on 3 characters destroyed my stock pile. Need to grind out strike play list.
-
Far from it. 2k plus. Reforging wasn't useful to PvE players.
-
Scrubs seem to be the only ones low on parts.
-
I'm rocking that 1700 weapon parts and armor materials. God I need to upgrade a faction
-
I have around 1000. But infusing really uses a lot.
