I think it'd be neat to have a character recreation option. As a day one - even beta player, I have seen many people asking for this since the beginning, and really haven't seen any feedback from bungie on this idea. I really think that this should be available, because I, like many other players, am not too happy with the monsters I've created. I see many ways to approach this idea so I'm just gonna go ahead and list them off here. 1. Bungie could drop a free item in each of our created characters' postmaster, similar to what they did with the spark of light, for comparison. 2. An NPC in the game could be created, or use one that is already there such as Eva Levante to sell character customization or recreation for glimmer, motes of light, strange coins, or even legendary marks. 3. With the addition of silver, bungie has opened up a whole new possibility for character recreation. This could be used to buy different customization options with different amounts of silver. For example: A: you could purchase a hair style and or color change for a set amount of silver (a low amount, obviously). Or a face style, eye color, race change, gender change ect. for the fixed amount of silver per each change. OR B: include the option, even on top of the specific changes for smaller amounts of silver, to completely recreate your character. Obviously this would be a bundle deal on silver, being cheaper to just purchase the entire recreation instead of purchasing one by one, separate changes, again as mentioned in A. Finally, I would like to conclude that this isn't really THAT important, it was just on my mind recently, as my friend has deleted multiple level 40 characters recently just to change his character's appearance and race.
