Does anyone else miss this amazingly underrated FPS franchise? TimeSplitters 2 will always be my favorite of the trilogy. I was so sad when Free Radical shut down. Crytek bought up what was left and turned it into Crytek UK, but even it got shut down. Now those employees have gone on to the new company Dambuster which just made Homefront: The Revolution. A group called 100,000 Strong for TimeSplitters 4 has indie devs currently working on a free game called TimeSplitters Rewind. It's a HD remake of fans favorite MP maps. They have Crytek's blessing to make it and Crytek is going to judge how well it does to see if there is indeed enough demand for a new TimeSplitters game. If it does well enough, Crytek may even let these indie devs release TimeSplitters Rewind on Xbox One and PS4.
